A full year of Tuivaiti playing big minutes in cup would probably be better for his development in comparison to coming off the bench for 25 minutes
Did the TCT also talk about how big their arms are and how someone came second behind Gutho in a running race?If he stays Injury free he could play a game or 2 next year due to injuries.
He will jump Mateale next year in the pecking order.
Talagi is definitely going to play in the NRL.
TCT mention how big all 3 guys are as well from the Friday report.
If 1 of Brown Talagi Neemia can make it long term I'll be pretty happy. Tuivati has already made it in my book.
Gutherson left the club 12 months ago ffs.
I prefer Iongi. He will probably become a better player than Gutherson, though never as fit.It might be time for you to stop crying about it, take the time to get over it and move on??
Stuff: Instagram is becoming almost unusable with all the AI crap every second post. FB is not far behind.

What....speed and mongrel?I was keen on Fox and am keen on NAS. Both players offer something we don’t have and need.
YepWhat....speed and mongrel?
Iongi is 185 cm, taller than Tedsco (184), Edwards (183), Ponga (184).......Iongi will never be a top 5 defender. Maybe not even top 10. He is just to small.
Gutherson achieved a lot by hogging the ball though, including when the big play was on. For this reason we would’ve missed out on some opportunities when he got the ball and didn’t make a big play, whereas a more dynamic player would have.I would be suprised if he reaches Guthersons peak level. He was top 2 defensive fullback for quite a while. And top 3 ball playing fullback for a long time. Maybe even still currently.

Guthersons last few years were below par but at his peak he was one of the best Eels ever. Iongi is an excellent rookie. Be great to see how much he improves in 2026. But he may just plateau. It's a guess
arramatta EelsIongi is 185 cm, taller than Tedsco (184), Edwards (183), Ponga (184).......
And as with all youngsters the weight/bigger build will come with age...

I’m also convinced that it is tackle breaking that separates the best attacking players from the rest, at most positions anyway, including fullback. Iongi is already better at this than Gutherson.
He is five years away from being fully developed. However he is probably at his peak for speed/agility. Tedesco was much lighter early in his career too.He has a small frame and is 22. Those players you mention are thicker set frames id say.
His defence was great. It’s his attack that was fairly pedestrian, though he was still very effective just through sheer volume of involvement.Defense is also half the game. Gutherson I've seen multiple times save 2 or 3 one on one Try's that 90% of fullbacks couldnt stop. Thats 12-18 POINTS a game.
Some are down playing how good he was since he left I reckon. Or remembering his last 1 or 2 years. Behind Hayne he was our best Fullback I've seen.
Ionghi woukd be doing very well to take thst mantle. Hope he does but one good rookie season is to small a sample size
