Prices for players doesn't always have anything to do with whether they're Origin quality or not, its what somone is prepared to pay them. At this stage the highest paid player in the NRL in 2018 is going to be Ben Hunt. How's his Origin career going?

Scott was reported to have signed for $400k and Tepai up to next season would barely be above a rookie contract. If you think that'd be same as 2 rep regulars then either they or you are morons. Heck last season Jackson signed 4 year $2.4m, so this season I reckon he alone would almost be on as much as our two
