Roosters made hard work of it. They should have smashed the Boncos (sp) last night but really let them back into the game. Ferguson would have been crapping himself after the gift he gave Oates.

Jeez I hope that rumour about Meehan isn't true. We definitely need a big towering gorilla with plenty of football in him if we want to go all the way next year.

This year we will be found wanting once those bigger boppers in the Storm and Roosters get stuck into us. The bigger teams with skill will show up our weakness in this Finals series once and for all I reckon.

We may jag a game, if we play out of our skin, but to then back it up and play another beastly pack back to back, ain't gunna happen.

But we have done well to get into the top 4 this time around. I hope we somehow get one more quality giant to add to our roster for next season to take us to the next level.

Don't forget, Semi may not be around next year at all, so if that were to happen, we will be a weaker squad without a doubt, so we definitely still need to add to our team. The most obvious weakness is frontrow and hooker.

So lets just hope recruitment goes our way as it has for the last couple of off seasons and we are pleasantly surprised. And also that Meehan does show enough PASSION to warrant a NRL contract. I was really looking forward to him giving us that extra power and roll on that we need, like the best palookas do.
