Think I read that the Knights have a fair chunk of cap left unspent for next year... if Mitchell Pearce was shopped to them you'd think they could afford him, and that would free up enough space for Roosters to sign Cronk... Tigers might have some space... We would.... Warriors surely would.... You'd have to think it comes down to who has the space to accommodate a Mitch Pearce or Blake Ferguson contract.... You'd think Cronk would have no issues securing hefty TPA's.... him and his missus will both be broadcasting for Fox pretty soon you'd think...

Tigers are no chance he would never do that.
I can only see him going to a Roosters/Bunnies/Dogs profile type club. And Pearce ain’t going anywhere, he is on 750-850 odd k a year apparently and just signed another 2 year deal.

Based on current rosters Souths, panthers and dogs are the most in need for a quality half.

I can also see the Sharks and obviously the Roosters being interested.

I reckon it's between Panthers and Roosters with the sharks a outside guard chance with releasing Maloney.

What are the chances of the Knights picking up Pearce or Maloney out of all of this ? Will Moylan be released to Manly ?

So it was suggested by the lurker the eels may be interested in Cooper - I reckon it would be a waste of money us chasing him and our halves are good enough. It would also weaken our ability to strength the forwards / wing positions.

However if the club was looking at him, I could only see if happening if we either released a half or moved one to another position.

Norman would be the most likely to be released considering we just signed Moses.

Additionally Norman is the only half able to play another position, he can play fullback. But is he good enough or would he want to ? While we currently also have French / Gutherson

I really can't see either of these two options happening. So I reckon we will pass on Cooper.

Not sure haven't too watched much of him this year.

But BA would love his work rate and he has been part of a fairly successful side over the last 5 or so years. His experience would be good. And attack seems ok, 3 tries and 6 try assists which puts him in the top 3 hookers.

My money is on the Chooks. Traditionally they are one of the luckier clubs when it comes to signing good players.

That's mainly because of how the Roosters play. During Origin Friend typically steps up offensively and gets a few try assists and tries.
