Rumours and Stuff

The most injury prone Eel would have had to have been Ray Price. He went down injured at least 3 times every game. Luckily he played in the era of the magic sponge which cured him every time. For all the medical advances in football over the last 40 years, the loss of the sponge was a crippling step backwards!!!

Why would we want to swap plus big cash for Holmes. A great player yes, but he wants to play fullback. And he isn't a fullbacks asshole compared to THE KING.

There has been much talk of Val being chased by BA over the years. He is obviously a fan. Some call him the best winger in the game. I certainly wouldn't be against adding him to our roster.

So it’s noted we have a bit of wiggle room in the cap and need to fill a spot before June 30, and whilst he’s not on much we’ll get cap dispensation for T-Rex as well which gives us a little more to spend. With Manly looking now like needing to shed someone before June 30 is there anyone worth going for in their squad?
Tapau and maybe manure-blake.

I sort of agree. Except that Kaysa is so injury prone. In fact, has there ever been a more injury prone Parramatta player? Michael Patterson , maybe. Can anyone think of any others?
Peats, been injured every year I think with many being serious. Didn't he break his neck last year? Glad we offloaded him.

He is playing well for the Waratahs and is such good form that the SMH have him locked in for the Wallabies vs Ireland test series in June.

Seems a legit rumour.

Some merkin at the SMH said:
Curtis Rona finds his place.
One of the reasons the Waratahs' back line has looked better in recent weeks is that, finally, they appear to have found their man at No.13.

Curtis Rona is running some great lines and thriving on the opportunities provided by running support to the likes of Kurtley Beale and Taqele Naiyaravoro.

The defensive side of the game will probably take longer to master but there is no doubt that Rona can carry and offload.

I would be looking at Api and Tapau. As good as Kaysa played against the Tigers, he won't last. He came off busted again. Like I said I like and admire his ticker, but he is only a temporary NRL player unfortunately.

Don't worry about Api's current ordinary form. Manly are a basket case at present.

Also I would be trying hard to convince Raymond Faitala-Mariner and the Dogs to release him and come over to us. They are in strife with their salary cap. This is the time to put pressure on them to do what they don't want to do. Same goes for Manly.

Agreed but I don't think he'd be taking up enough of their cap (unless they had a brain explosion) that it'd help them enough to fix any cap issues, plus I think he'd be one of the last they'd want to lose
