The defense would be very solid with this option. If we have Tepai,Lane,Niakuore,Manu in 2nd row we also have great defense. The only risks will be Jnr in middle and Moses. The rest of the side has no weakness in defense.

Read MJ went great at training today and was up there with best performers.
People have given up in him quickly. I think he will be fine. Curious to see who gets the other centre spot.

I didnt give up on him quickly... he played like a busted ass for a whole year before i gave up on him

MJ has always been the type when not much to play for he doesnt put in. Why clubs punt him. He was far from terrible.

He was ranked 12th for tackle breaks of centres. 12/32 in a side who come last.Had he been in the Roosters or Storms side i reckon he would of been top 6.
Only Kelly,Lalilua and Esan Master had more the MJ from sides outside of top 8.

I'm sure nobody ever won anything if their players weren't at least performing well at training. It's not everything but it's a requirement, and at this stage of the year it's all we've got.

Well there are currently 30 listed in the NRL profiles on the eels website - including Mahoney, Brown & Stefano. Not sure if that is an indication the 3 have been promoted and we now have a full squad. Someone said those 3 were not listed on the profiles page last week, there was only 27 then

While considering parry, Dunster, Schneider are still
able to play 20’s this year, they are probably contracted to the club with a 20’s contract. But they are also “trialling” for a development contract,

It’s appears Faingaa is the only player not contracted and is trialling for a “playing contract”, but probably has some type of contract to enable him to train during the off-season.

Couldn't last year needed dispensation ,

So if the same this year, if we go into the season with Pritchard as the only recognised hooker and Mahoney in development squad, once Pritchard gets injured I guess we apply for dispensation on account of having no other viable alternative?
