We beat panthers only in last 3 minutes? We were in control entire game until MJ got binned.

Plus we’ve had our fair share of stars missing too.

Who do you reckon we'll go for then, Flanagan? At least he'll put some mongrel into the team. Liked their response to defeat the Storm last nite. Also liked how young Flanagan played and miles ahead of Deardon's display for the Broncs.

You can't judge a player in isolation, on the basis of one game though. Especially a half. How good were the opposition? How good were the player's team mates? Comparing players on different teams, playing against different opposition is apples and oranges, particularly in a sample of only one game.

Poor old Dearden spent the whole game tackling (28 attempted tackles) behind a beaten pack, and Milford took all the kicks.

But yeah I'd be happy with Shane Flanagan. He's a proven coach, and he's a massive cheat, which is essential for success these days. Plus he played for Parra, if that means anything.
