Are you calling me or Ram looser?Because he is a looser?

Zero Tackle reporting Lodge is desperate to leave Brisbane and move back to Sydney. He has an option in his favour for 2020 but doesn’t want to stay.
Off field history aside, is HE the player we are missing? Similar in style to George Burgess but better?
Thoughts?
You or him?I'd want to see a few more years of not being a dickhead before I tried that one.
What about the money we get from the NT Government as sponsorship? Someone would need to replace that.I'm not a supporter of taking games to Darwin any longer now that we're back at Parra. They get about 10,000 for our annual game up there and I'm not convinced it's a home ground as such. I understand their involvement in expanding the game but Darwin? I'd much prefer to see the Eels playing Canberra at Parra or take a game to somewhere like Fiji.

*looser’sThere all loosers.

From memory (don't quote me on this) the original sponsorship deal was $1M pa I think (for 4 years). How much do we get?
Are you going to match it?How much do we get?

Hey @everyone! Noise is going to be the clubs major sponsor.
Good work Noise
It has been f**ken hot for every game we have played in Darwin with the lowest temp at kick-off probably 30c. And Darwin is a fortress for us - we have won 4 from 5 there.I was talking to some people yesterday that went to the 2018 Darwin game. They said that it was f**king hot. f**king hot is a perfect temperature to play Canberra with their Pommy stacked team.
Assuming that this is correct, is it money best spent? From the NT's government's POV, what do they get out of it that's so rewarding? From the Eels POV I don't see too much incentive to play there other than giving up a round that could be played at Bankwest in the name of promoting the game in a place where NRL isn't a thing. If we're going to continue to foster these games then we should be taking them off-shore. Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and PNG are better options for mine. From memory (don't quote me on this) the original sponsorship deal was $1M pa I think (for 4 years).
If anyone takes offence to your post, they should harden the f^*k up. The worlds gone mad, soon people will take offence when one asks “how’s your day”.

Fair enough, and you've explained the intent. I do see expansion in the Pacific as a good alternative, though. It's all better than Mudgee. As part of the original deal, we took 2 games to NT (trial match in Alice and NRL round in Darwin). We provide teaching clinics in the lead up to both games, our injured players will travel early and spend the week visiting schools, etc. and we provide a trophy for the NT High Schools knock-out comp, called the Eels Cup. In addition, there is a few $$ spent in town by visitors who make it a holiday and of the course the NT Tourism gets on our jersey, website, etc. as normal sponsors do.
NRL is in strong competition for the young players up there against AFL which has been playing a game up there for years more than us. This sponsorship and the work we do up there is important to continue to foster the growth of RL in the NT. And as I said elsewhere, we have won 80% of our games so it is one of our more successful roadtrips.
