Taka to the forwards? Where will he fit in. When Brown comes back we will have an abundance of back rowers. Brown, Ma’u, Tepai, Lane, Niukora.

He plays for Wenty.

No offense to the guy, because he has played hard for us and I like him, but he was always a stop-gap centre option.

I thought Salmon would be the centre option once Drown came back but looks like BA isn't going to go that way.

I think that's the story, here - what does this mean for Salmon?

If that's true, there's an important element that we don't know. It's not as it seems I thinks. Maybe related to Bevan leaving?

If we're looking at bringing in DWZ this year I'd say it's very unlikely that Gutherson will remain. So we'd only have to find spots for both of them this year. Next year DWZ would play fullback.

I wonder if Penrith would release him though. You'd think not but there's obviously shit going on behind the scenes at that club.

I think BA has always shown he likes players who can play multiple positions ... DWZ is that.

I could see Gutho still staying and playing fullback and DWZ playing centre and wing ... i could see the potential of Fergo and DWZ doing swappsies on that right wing. Fergo centre in attack, then goes to wing in defense so he can drop back for the kicks ..... tho that would all depend on DWZ being open to not playing fullback, except for fill in purposes.

I also agree it puts pressure on Gutho/Ayoub .... double whammy!!

That would be a great inclusion, should it eventuate and at the right price. As is, I am not feeling to confident with Gutho staying at this point. So he could be a good surprise backup.

Definitely has a lot of talent and speed. He had his knee fixed up with stem cell injections over the off season, so has no knee injury concerns at the moment. He just hasn't been able to get in his groove this year at the Panthers. I have been watching him closely and he has been terrible at times, which I like because it meant that he could be punted from them. I'm so glad our football department see the same value I see in him. They may know what they are doing after all. ;)

I feel he is the type of player that will thrive at a new club without all the baggage that the Panthers are carrying at the moment.

Make it so football department.
