Depends if they could strengthen squad elsewhere.

It is like our side. No point signing a 700k play if it pushes a 400k player to reserve grade.
And no point having 1 spot open and 2 x 400k players. Better to have a 700k player and a 100k back up.
There is not always the right players available at price your able to spend. People seem to forget this. It would be a lot of planning to get a nice balance and it only take a dip in form or a few jnrs to come through to change the whole way of thinking.

Look at this year.
SIVO - Could of spent season in NSW cup but instead is a long term option and a good one. These are nice surprises but they also mean you must alter plan. Guys like Dunster prob become less important.

One thing that impressed me was he made a tackle and was a bit slow getting to marker but when he noticed Cook darted from dummy half he chased hard and brought him down. That's the effort we need from our middles, attacking we're fine it's the hard working areas where we're missing out.

Yep, agree. One of the best Origin debuts I've seen, even more commendable given he probably thought he was 18th man until Monday or Tuesday. Played big minutes, came up with the charge down and kicked every goal he attempted. Stellar debut.

Sharks at 17s are great odds.
