He'd be a centre in RU. Him and SBW would make them even more unbeatable.
That's why he is holding off on re-signing and is putting himself on the
"open market." He is in my opinion the best running forward in the game.

Yeah I heard a player manager say that you'll need $1m to sign him next contract.

HUNT FOR GUN

Parramatta have just filled what could prove to be one of their most critical positions, that of recruitment manager. Matt Desira, formerly a player agent for Pacific Sports Management, has been charged with helping the Eels to turn their roster into a premiership-winning one. The Eels have money to spend after releasing Kieran Foran and missing out on Jarryd Hayne, and Desira has the task of finding a gun No.7 to partner Corey Norman in the halves. Arthur is managed by PSM and has a strong relationship with Desira through that association.

Jamal Fogherty is managed by Pacific Sports Management.

Where does that leave fieldsy?

Would think Fieldsy remains as Head of Recruitment and Elite Programmes Coordinaot, he and BA seem to get on very well. Looks like Desira has moved alongside Peter Sharp, different responsibilities to Fieldsy

Maybe a tip as to who is in the frame for Manager, Football

EELS TO SETTLE

Parramatta are poised to settle out of court their $ 1.83 million contract dispute with Will Hopoate, although it remains to be seen if the Eels will need to carry the payout in their salary cap.

The matter has been before the Supreme Court, but the parties are keen to avoid a protracted legal battle and have all but agreed a payout figure. Hopoate, now at Canterbury, alleged the Eels had failed to honour a contract extension for 2016-18. While the settlement will come out of the Parramatta Leagues Club coffers, the Eels will be hoping the money does not count against their salary cap. The NRL's determination is critical as the outcome will affect how much the blue-and-golds have to spend on recruitment and retention for future campaigns.

Surely we wouldnt be settling if we believed it would count against the cap ... unless the settlement is quite small

You would like to think that the genius that Is Greenberg would want Max to have the ability to move things on for the club after the punishments he handed down this year. Hopeful that the settlement will be treated as a civil matter and not counted against the cap, with the argument that a contract was never registered for NRL purposes
