Should Ask Ian Turpie. As a backup at the right price he's OK. As a bench hooker not so sure. The footy people here would know better. Is there a player that can do both? At the right price?

At least he is injury prone but with some upside.I'd rather take a gamble on Nathaniel Roache than going back to the future with Peats.
A much better option than Peats, and he can actually slip into the back row or lock if needed.Might be a slightly more expensive option, but I’d be looking at Havili from the Raiders. Very hand bench utility. Seems to have a player option in his favour for 2021 - but Raiders just resigned Starling, so he might be willing to move across for a better deal/playing time.
Thats why they have won and played in the most GF’s the last 20 odd years. They don’t tolerate mediocrity, the total opposite of our club and fan base.Ruthless.

Which rookie back up hooker was in this years top 30???? Proper dummy half option??? There was none.@hineyrulz logic ........
2020, BA has rookie back up hookers with potential in the squad.....BA has no f**ken idea, he should have signed someone with experienced
2021 BA looks at bringing in an experienced back up hooker, BA has no f**ken idea and should be looking at a rookie hooker with potential.......
They've obviously seen something that makes them think he can't be improved by their awesome and experienced coaching staff. Interesting.Ruthless.
I thought a coach was appointed to win a grand final rather than just playing final games and only winning one. Or have I got that wrong? He can’t coach yet has coached our team yet out of our last 4 seasons has a 4th, 5th and 3rd! Not bad for someone who isn’t a “coaches arsehole”
He also has coached 4 players to becoming origin quality players!
Not bad for a bloke who can’t coach![]()
Or they’ve identified Ben Walker’s son as a superior talent and don’t see the point improving Flanno only for Walker to take his spot in a couple of seasons. They've obviously seen something that makes them think he can't be improved by their awesome and experienced coaching staff. Interesting.
Yeah, but they did the same with Flanno. They're playing a dangerous game imo. The kid is barely 22. Anyway, it's the Roosters, so f**k em.Or they’ve identified Ben Walker’s son as a superior talent and don’t see the point improving Flanno only for Walker to take his spots in a couple of season’s.

And its hardly surprising you are happy with us signing Peats, we could bring back Keating on a 5 year deal and find a heap of positives and whinge at anyone who questions the decision.
Damn right! If they had to put up with mediocrity, they’re fan base would be nowhere to be foundthe total opposite of our club and fan base.
I asked did we have a back up hooker option in the top 30 this year, a true dummy half option. And you come back with Schneider who was on a development contract and Davies Who was a half and a park footballers at that.we had Schneider/Davis as options and suspect no NSW cup stuffed our plans ......
If we signed Peats as our number one hooker, yeah that wouId be concerning. But that isn’t happening ......we are looking for a cheap back up and potentially some one to play a 14 role
We have one of the best young hookers in the game who is improving, so we don’t necessarily need someone with limited experience but potential. We need someone to come into the side if required and do an ok job with his service and is defensively strong. Someone who we know what we are going to get.
Peats would offer that. Yeah not the greatest attack but then his defence is above average. He has experience.
Additionally apart from being a back up there is also the potential for him to push for a top 17 spot.
So yes as back up who wouIdnt be ok with a Peats signing but as our starting hooker yeah it’s not the best option...
So 15 coaches get sacked every year?I thought a coach was appointed to win a grand final rather than just playing final games and only winning one. Or have I got that wrong?

so that’s a no, the rest was just waffle.
