Seriously mate. As long as you are happy to congratulate those responsible for the signing if it works out, this is fair enough. If Cartwright had no baggage to deal with, you'd be paying $400k plus. If you don't take risks you have zero chance. Criticise the risks after they blow up, for sure. But (and fell free to quote me on this if it does blow up) this is a pretty good signing, and perhaps even better than that.

Plenty here have put shit on him. Hindy mentioned we should sign him and got laughed at. He’s had off field dramas, a poor attitude, a poor defender, throws more balls over the sideline then Benjie and just comes across as a shit merkin. I’m sure you’d agree to most if not all of that. Just not sure he’ll turn it around.

If you go the other way, I reckon Dylan Brown is strong for his size. He often carries multiple defenders for a few PCM.
