On Walker, If I was running the Broncos, I would go hard to being him back to QLD and the Broncos. I would use Walters with is close relationship with his father and offer the kid a contract that he could not refuse.

Money talks, and I would take a massive gamble on the kid, but I think he is worth it. Walters needs to or he will be gonsky and the stink will slowly increase over the next year or two if he can't attract a top flight half to run that team.

Offer the kid $800-900K. Yes I know it is a massive amount, but that is the only way he would ever even consider leaving what he now thinks of his perfect coach and club. At the very least it would force the Roosters to increase any upgrade offer they would have made otherwise.

I was speaking to Chris Walker the other day, as he’s involved with a boxer I manage. He said the broncos treated him very poorly last season when it was time for negotiations. I think that ship has sailed.

Would be a poor decision professionally for him. I think the Broncos are a good 2-3 years away from being top 8 again. Financially might be a good thing for him..
With Parra's current crop of players we are in great shape to win a premiership and be very competitive for years to come. Recent recruitment, retention and direction is the best its been for a very very long time.
Players want to come to our club without us paying overs. Far cry from where we were 10 years ago. Let's not revisit.
Glad we have the management personnel in place to keep driving the place for forward.
Plus we have the biggest membership base ever...if we do win a premiership the member numbers, sponsorship, merchandise sales etc will explode..

or a 4 year deal for $1-1.1m p/yr in Brisbane.

That would be perfect for our club.
. Keeps Moses motivated to play at the top of his game.
. Provides a full season to see how Jrthur progresses.
. Time to re evaluate if say a Drinkwater etc could be tempted.
. Time to develop Drown to take over the 7.
. Maybe find another diamond in the rough such as, Ice, Roach, Emu, Perham or even a Cartwright now that Our scouts appear to be switched on.
