We are basically the most popular team in the NRL and have a large following in Brisbane. We are a top 4 team. In what world would the governing body not pick us to be stationed in Brisbane and playing out of Suncorp? If they place us in any other pool they have lost the plot. Parra and Souths are a must to be allocated Suncorp games. I would put Saints in the same category but for their current predicament. The Panthers also need to be there seeing how they are placed and the way they play. People that haven't seen them play live in QLD may decide to since they are now playing in their backyard it is a good opportunity to see how the best team in the NRL plays live.

maybe that wasn't the criteria in which the groups were selected

Getting our game against Manly up there would be a benefit amd I would make it a 50/50 game I'd did.
We've lost our home games against Raiders and Souths. Id say our advantage against Canbera is now gone and we are now a bit of a chance to lose that one. And any chance against Souths is now gone without home ground advantage.
I feel like we most likely would of beat the Roosters regardless where played them. These games being moved have not benefited us at all.

I'm up for a Sunny Coast pre game Eels supporters get together and then attend the match. I can also save $3.00 in road toll fees.
Sunny coast is probably the only one I won’t do whilst they’re up here in Qld, given it’s a Thursday night game. Makes travel too difficult.

We beat Canberra in Canberra. We can beat them anywhere and really shouldn’t let them trouble us too much based on from this season. As for the bunnies they’ve adequately dealt with us at any ground of late so I don’t think home ground advantage is worth much. If you can defend decently as we did against Penrith 2 weeks back you’ll beat them

Sunny coast stadium is definitely the most low key, lower crowd etc. It would be the worst choice for mine for us.
Hopefully the NRL takes into account Qld membership/fan numbers and therefore likely crowd capacities in determining which clubs go where
As a fan, probably the best of the lot. Proper suburban ground. Was there on the weekend watching the Sunny Coast Falcons. Hopefully see Parra there shortly. - Edit, just saw we play the Rorters there. Beauty.
