Were there ramifications with Bellamy at the Storm? That’s right. He knew nothing about the biggest salary cap scandal in Australian Sporting history. How about BA when we cheated in 2016? That’s right he didn’t know either.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Let’s give him one and try and win.

Rankin didnt want to leave Sydney due to a family situation. The club wanted him in QLD with the squad.

we (LU) got very busy when this was coming to light and we had to moderate a lot of posts that were either bullshit, or just not reliable sources

of all the MSM articles that I read, I was not convinced he had full knowledge. I am not saying he didn't know the players were juiced up, but the advice he was given by some reputable people may have been an issue in all of this with regard to its legality or otherwise

Not saying he was definitely innocent because I don't know and was not privy to everything, just not sure he was 100% guilty either, we may never know

Interesting in the pre-match press conference today a journo asked BA about the clubs media release last night about putting Gutho's contract talks on hold until the end of the season, and if that was going to be the same for all players to allow the team to focus on footy.

BA said he wasnt aware of the clubs media release, or that a decision to suspend contract talks had taken place...

What a rabble. BA is either on the way out so they are not including him in discussions, or the club's communication is pathetic. or both.

I'm not sold on Flanagan as a person.

Presided over the team while they got juiced up. Yes he may not have had full knowledge, but he should have. Wanna give him benefit of the doubt, sure, ok.

Presided over a team cheating the salary caps in the years prior to, and after, winning the comp. Yes he may not have had full knowledge, but he should have. Wanna give him the benefit of the doubt, sure, ok.

Was suspended and given strict instructions on what he could/couldnt do/contact in terms of involvement in the club. Was busted flaunting/breaking said rules. Wanna give him the benefit of the doubt.....

At some point the benefit of the doubt is removed.

He is part of the recruitment and retention committee, and the head coach.

You don't think us suspending talks with our highest profile off-contract player, and our team captain, is something our HEAD COACH should be aware of?
