Yep, they put them in last night for the bandwagon....I haven't been to Parramatta for a very long time. Is that rail tracks down the middle of Church St?

Didn’t they have one a few years back that ended in a draw and was replayed?Yeah both swans GF wins have been nail biters.
2005 & 2012.
But other then that I don't recall a classic AFL GF in the last 10 years that I remember and go gee I won't forget that game for a long time.
I'm wearing some right now, with jeans. I'm at the TAB by myself. We wore Asics in 2001 and probably a couple of years before/after
Yep, can't recall the year but St Kilda who have a drought going longer than ours played Collingwood in the big one... The Saints needed to win that on the day, they gave it everything and ended up getting smashed in the replay.... A la Parra 1977....Didn’t they have one a few years back that ended in a draw and was replayed?

2010 was the year.Didn’t they have one a few years back that ended in a draw and was replayed?
I think it would appear that everyone in the joint knew they had a team capable of something special the moment they beat the Storm and the Panthers earlier in the year. Throughout the season all they did was just enough to ensure they could get themselves into the position they're now in.
I suspect they had been waiting for last week for the last 12 months and had then been waiting all season for last night.
Credit where credit is due.
The AFL misunderstood the type of Sydney people that follow AFL. It's not league fans who've had enough of league, it's the Deloitte crew who've accepted rugby's death. Plus some social climbers from NRL families who want to signal their aspirations.GWS are a small pimple on the sporting landscape. They will never get close to owning Western Sydney like the league teams.
The swans are Sydney's team in the AFL always will be.
Parra v Penrith GF will just be another dagger to the AFL's plan in Western Sydney.
More chance of a Adelaide team then a 2nd Melbourne team. The AFL misunderstood the type of Sydney people that follow AFL. It's not league fans who've had enough of league, it's the Deloitte crew who've accepted rugby's death. Plus some social climbers from NRL families who want to signal their aspirations.
But the Swans are enough AFL for everyone in Sydney. They can supply the entire market. I suspect a second Melbourne NRL team would also struggle for relevance, however I think there is a genuine demand for the Dolphins. I hope so anyway.
Billy Rogers not mentioned? The question is who else have you got in the team? Obviously The Plane, Hindy, and Semi pick themselves.
If you're talking about 17 players then both RCG and Paulo would be in there, but you can't leave out Cayless, we did go to two GF's and plenty of Prelim Finals with him as Captain. Fui also has to get a game.
Gutho gets a run somewhere surely, even if it is the 14.
Hahaha what about the best jnr DA had ever seen, Pat o Hanlon. Actually come to think of it he was built a bit like Lane.Billy Rogers not mentioned?
Extremely harsh.
1. HAYNE
2. SEMI
3. TAHU
4. LYON
5. INU
6. BEAUTNER
7. MOSES
8. MOI MOI
9. PJ MARSH
10. JNR PAULO
11. HINDMARSH
12. MANU MAU
13. J.SMITH
14 D.PAY
15 WIDDERS
16 RCG
17 MORRISON
THAT'S PROBABLY THE BEST SIDE IVE SEEN.
A little off tangent, but how many of the current team would everyone place in their team of the NRL era?
I would have Brown, Moses, Mahoney, Campbell-Gillard and Paulo in there. Potentially Gutherson, Lane, Papali’i and Matterson pending next weeks performance.
horrible. My stab at our best combo team since 1998...
Gutherson (c) - nails this position on leadership
Hayne - his best rep position
Lyon
Vaeliki
Radradra
Buettner - but expect Dylan Brown will take this position as he develops
Taylor - only one season for us, but achieved as much as Mitchell Moses has so far...
N Cayless (c)
Drew - that 2001 season was amazing
Campbell-Gillard
N Hindmarsh
Solomona ? - but could be Papali'i if he wasn't leaving...
Matterson - even though he doesn't actually start
-
Marsh - as the 2001 foil for Drew
Moimoi - would not have got to the 2009 GF without him
Paulo
Lane
-
18th: D Brown (swaps in for Buettner if we win comp)
19th: Moses (Swaps in for Marsh or Taylor if we win comp)
I would be telling him if you don't feel confident let the f.. thing bounce.looks like waqa will be spending a lot of time taking bombs at practice this week
Hayne's still there on the wing, where he did very well for NSW.horrible.
Gutherson ahead of Hayne?
At least you went full R from the get go.
Taylor ahead of Moses. WTF.
