On 100% Footy last night they said that JWH has likely to go around again with the Roosters, plus they signed whatshisface from Penrith. That leaves unsigned Matt Lodge without a start in 2024.

Agree mate. You can sometimes get lucky in the bargain bin. But this year it didn't turn out.

I have hope for Doorey and Hopgood but they do come with faults.
If we had of replaced these guys with our juniors in system we would right now have 480k spare. Add the 400k Waqa is on and the 500k we paid N.Brown. Right there is 1.5 million.

We should in theory be able to put together a better side in 2024.

He will get better after another 20-25 games under his belt.

Exactly why I like him. But nothing wrong with pointing out what areas he needs to improve.
If he can fix his handling errors and occasional sloppy defense then he can be an excellent player. No point denying his weaknesses

he has that carty syndrome where he feels like he needs to impress every play or he will get dropped.

He really should be studying Matto or Yeo and do the appropriate thing at the appropriate time. He doesnt have to kamakaze every play and tackle

Matto still has a little bit of that in him too, especially when he goes to the edge.

Why would you think that? Bryce and J'maine are both in the top 5 in the comp for offloads.
