It’s the same concept as Brad Arthur developing Papali’i.Which ones has he assembled though? All the best ones were already at the club when he came back from Wests where he did nothing.

What the f**k has Nathan Brown done? And if he was that good why wouldn't he be at a wealthier club? There is no doubt in my mind that the best recruitment/retention staff are at Penrith/Brisbane/Melbourne/etc. Look how our junior 'development' (poaching) died in the arse when Cleal was poached by Manly. Then the merkins won two premierships.T
That’s the whole point we should be able to with our resources, instead we have the wrong people doing the resourcing, other than Nathan Brown, recently coming on board
Twenty years actually, and the only constant is a bunch of whinging fansAnd over the 10 year period we’ve only had the one consistent….
Those teams weren't as short-staffed we were, and certainly not for as long as we have been - we haven't been able to field our best 17 once this entire season.

ok thank youWe destroyed them. With more players out we would have beaten them by less, just like Penrith did.
Right, and it's only part of the story. The best thing about Papali'i was the recruitment, and the fact he was on unders for two years. Given his age he was probably always due to have a breakout year. He debuted at 18 years of age ffs. That's a sign of massive potential. If the Warriors wrote him off at 21 that's their problem. It’s the same concept as Brad Arthur developing Papali’i.
I agree with all of that but Moses was out against Canberra so it was always going to be tough to win that one.Yes I agree.
But we lost to Titans and Canberra with good squads. We also should of beat Sharks and Storm first up who both where missing guys.
Our performance other last two weeks has been disgusting. Our win against Titans ordinary.
Possitives in a shit season are Morreti,Grieg and Hopgood.
Best game was beating Souths.
You predict it every year, so don't expect a pat on the back when it finally happens.I predicted it.....So did @TheRam
We where right
How’s he going at the Tigers? If coaches deserve blame then they also deserve credit.Right, and it's only part of the story. I think the draw and player availability is out of our hands.I don’t think us and the Roosters are unlucky. We both haven’t performed to expectations.
Except for dickheads like Ryan Matterson.I think the draw and player availability is out of our hands.
I’d argue we still should have been good enough to make the 8 despite those hurdles. A lot of the games we lost were not insurmountable challenges.I think the draw and player availability is out of our hands.
And you constantly attempting (failing?) to "educate" forum fans... for whatever good that serves.Twenty years actually, and the only constant is a bunch of whinging fans
You're the one who was crowing about 'the one constant'. Brad Arthur wasn't here twenty years ago, neither was Mark O'Neill. But you were.ah yes. I forgot about the whinging fans. That’s the number 1 reason we’re a shit club.
He's playing like a good player in a shit team. Where he made a lot of runs at isolated halfbacks when he played for Parra, he is now mostly making hit ups against set defensive lines. He is still ordinary in defence, but the Tigers aren't as good at hiding him as we were. How’s he going at the Tigers? If coaches deserve blame then they also deserve credit.

The pandemic hurt us financially because it hurt the PLC. Some privately owned clubs benefitted because so many rich people got richer during the pandemic.cuz no other clubs played through the pandemic
I might check the prediction thread instead to see if you put your balls on the line.I think you should check out 2021/2022 power rankings to confirm you are right.
I know you will be wrong but.
Yeah we're awesome. He is still ordinary in defence, but the Tigers aren't as good at hiding him as we were.
