I didn’t hate the Davey signing. Our forward pack was decimated by injuries at the time, particularly edge backrowers.

Ideally would have just been for the 2023 season, but he at least was no Lumelume…

We definitely need another winger. He goes well. I would definitely be going for him. He's better than all the reserve grade wings and centres we have and thought he handled first grade step up quite well.

He put in, in every game, whether it was good enough, is a different story, but he did have a crack, unlike some of our “stars” wh preferred to let his teammates down for a couple of k, and then idiots touching up women and only playing when he felt like it, like wise our “premier front rower!!

If they're willing to 'medically retire' then it was only for 2023. And Lumelume wasn't even in the top 30. He was the lowest risk signing we made last year.
