If you are not prepared to back a junior and pay coin for the potential then why bother developing them in the first place. We all know other clubs will throw money for a young kid with potential. It's not like they are hidden gems. They play against each other ffs.
And it isn't like it's a new thing for other clubs to go and poach a talented junior and pay a bit extra.

Didn't hear that as losing Sam, he did say that there are rumours floating around the forums that we could be losing Lenaz.

I listened to it again and I'm not sure. He talks about Lenaz and then says "and Sam Tuivati". YOu reckon he was grouping Sam in in those prospects, rather than leaving with Lenaz ?

Maybe it’s just how I saw the many games Lenaz played this year, but he is a prototypical Jayden Yates, hard worker etc, but his hands are not the best as he hammers into the line. In terms of hooker , he is definitely behind Davis and MA , his contribution though as a lock is good. To be honest he’s not as good as Guymer. Tupou and others in the back row who are younger. Decisions have to be made, personally looks like a handy back up more than a possible NRL level player.

I think he is saying Sam tuivati is another forward on our list. Not that he is leaving. I'm sure he would have made a bigger deal about it otherwise.

Just listened to that pod, Hamish was adding Tuivati’s name to the younger forwards to keep like Latu and Tupou , think it got lost as it was straight after mentioning Lenaz. Big Sam has already done a preseason as a 17 year old and think he is signed for possibly 2 more years.
