It is a concern which should be reflected in his asking price.Brailey is a decent upgrade on Hands and we won't even mention super league plodder Joey but surely his injury history has to be a concern???

He is light years in front of Lussick and a lot better than hands. His defence and passing is very good compared to those two.Not bagging Bradley in any way. But genuinely is he better than Lussick and Hands. And how do they differ? Does he have a running game ? We have lacked that out of dummy half for so many years under the baldy dope.
Me too. Hopefully we’ve told the refs they can f**ken wear white. I’ve always preferred our gold jerseysI think the gold jersey looks excellent. Better than the blue as it has solid blue stripes unlike the woven stripe pattern of the blue jersey.
Well he’s from the Shire so there’s always a chance he can’t. Probably have no troubles with J’maine butCan he play as a middle fwd and spell Hopgood?
He played hooker in his junior days but provides service like Ray Stone. Can he play as a middle fwd and spell Hopgood?

I don't care if Brailey takes 0 runs from dummy half. Good passing from the ruck to our halves and good defence is what we need from him. A good attitude on the training park would help too.
Brailey will improve our defence, which is what we need. We already have plenty of strike in the spine.Brent Read suggesting this morning we are odds on to get Brailey settled next week as we have plenty of cap space and the club are very keen on him apparently.
He's also suggested we are in box seat for JAC but we have cooled a bit on him. Either way we’ll make a call either way next week.
Interested to hear everyone’s thoughts on the outcome if we take on both those two?
I think JAC will definitely give us a bit of class but I just haven’t watched enough of Brailey to understand if he’s just another “OK” 9 or if he’d take us up a notch in class. I am aware he has historically had injury issues which makes me nervous.
Keen to hear thoughts…
He needs to engage the markers that why you need a running game
For me running game ≠ engaging the markers, they're 2 separate skill sets.
By stepping out towards the marker, drawing and passing, u r engaging the marker. You dont need to have a strong running game to do that. If the marker refuses to engage you just run and gain an easy 10m. No marker defence is going to allow a dummy half to jog up field at will. And if they do engage (likely) then you have taken out a defender for the guy ur passing to.To me they are not if you are putting the markers in 2 minds because they know you have a running game then markers are engaged.
I didn't really like the 2005-2009 one we had. It seemed like they were bringing it back on the promos.
