I'm backing myself and Arthur's to know more about footy than the rest of you.
I'm sure we are striving to be the best team in the comp, no different to any other club. Whether a club gets there is a matter of resources.
As for me, nothing I do is going to make Parra the best team in the comp. I focus on making myself the best Pou I can be. One way I can be the best is by understanding the things that interest me, rather than whinging about them.
I think it's been good enough. Certainly not the reason we've lost games. For mine, our main problem in defence is lack of inside pressure on playmakers. If they're not forced to play early the defence is forced to make a decision early, and against numbers there is no right decision. You just have to hope the attacker makes a mistake, and this is at least helped by centres and wingers coming out of the line. Your incorrect assumption is that the edge defenders holding their position against an overlap will prevent a try.
Maybe that is the best version of yourself. The Kingston is an underrated biscuit. Better with coffee though.I liked that speech. How can Hindy111 be the best version of himself? I like laying on the lounge, drinking tea and eating Kingston biscuits. Everything else I do maybe cause of society.

Dunked in coffee? A bit plain/sugary otherwise.shortbread cream goes ok too
Blakes been ordinary. To his defense he has had 8 weeks out. Remember he had 1 game prior. So that is one game of footy in 8mths prior to the last few games. Id cut him some slack based on that. Prob worse time to have an injury. Atleast if its 6 or 7 games in your back to full fitness already before the lay off. Id give the guy a few more games tbh. Unluckily he will not play with Brown amd tea,s are going to go after that side with Arthurs . Once Browns back they'll target Moses side more often. And then without our origin players so he needs to come good fast.

Peter Wynn had a heart attack on Sunday after swimming at Bondi Icebergs. 2 surgeries, 2 stents. Best wishes to Peter on his recovery, apparently was very very lucky. Could have lost 2 legends in 1 day.

I don't know, ask Gronk. Are you suggesting that either it isn’t simple or that BA is so dumb that he can’t even fix a simple thing?
What factor is that? You're fixating on one factor, and ignoring the fact that Waqa Blake is our fastest outside back. The Storm's defence is great for a bunch of reasons, including controlling the ball and winning the ruck. This puts less pressure on their edge defence. Like Arthur's said when journos tried to scapegoat Waqa Blake at the presser, we need to play better as a team.
Melbourne also have strong defensive halves. When they bring a backup half into the side they don't pick an attacking player, they choose one who makes his tackles.
You can compress but you need speed to cover the quick shifts to the edge. We don't have that and Penrith and Storm, and probably Souths this weekend, will exploit that.Talking to people much more experienced in tactics than me, suggest that the real issue is that we play a compressed defence wherever we are on the field.
The compressed defence played in their half works as it makes the opposition have to try and go wide to get distance. Then the tactic is to fan out wider as you move back into your own half, if you continue to play compressed then quick shifts wide can get the defence caught in an overlap problem. Seems to me it’s probably not that simple, but if your defence coach preaches compressed wherever you are, then it makes sense that you can get caught out wide more often than you should.
No doubt there are other opinions, but I tend to trust the coaches that have pointed it out.
