I believe we dropped 8 places in the OECD economic rankings under abbott, we were 1st under Rudd/Gillard with Swann as treasurer, and the tories are supposed to be better economic managers.

Whilst it's no plan like Shorten had, Albanese has brought in: housing future build fund, increased award wages, started the closing the loop bill. Abbott introduced copper wire to the ground.

A national economy is a very big ship, and takes more than a term in government to turn it around. Luckily both sides of government have known for decades that the world economy is an even bigger ship, and we have no influence on where it goes.

A national economy is a very big ship, and takes more than a term in government to turn it around. Luckily both sides of government have known for decades that the world economy is an even bigger ship, and we have no influence on where it goes.

That's why under multi-term liberal governments we gradually go down the OECD economic rankings and under Labor we gradually go up. The only OECD factor that historically increases under the liberals is corporate profits

To be fair , one thing Labor does well is more public servants and bureaucrats, what it doesn’t do well is infrastructure. For instance Rouss Hill Hospital delayed 5 years , road infrastructure to Western Sydney Airport removed. No raising of the Warragamba dam wall to increase water supply.

Albo, Chalmers and Bowen are struggling massivley , let’s see how we look going into the next Federal and State election now they assumed control for a while

Ah there is a little thing called policy, regulations, sell offs(privatization) and laws. Now I wonder who sets those?

Oh yeah I suppose you are sort of right since our pollies are bought and paid for by these private enterprises you speak of.

But people don't ever forget or don't be fooled, almost everything that is happening and will happen is due to the policies that these quislings are setting. They are constantly passing laws and regulations that are creating immediate or down the line scarcity and or monopolies which obviously lead to price hikes.

To not see that is to be the child that thinks the coin came out from behind his ear and not the magicians hand. It's a very old and cheap trick and by the same token that's how stupid and easily the polies think they can fool you, and by the looks of things they may be right.

Yeah, yeah...it's just market forces. Oh well nothing can be done. Just have to suck it up and get on with it.

Bullocks. Polices can have almost immediate and significant influence good or bad depending on the policies. We and the rest of the world though unfortunately have jumped onto the agenda driven woke train to poverty and ruin and it doesn't seem that there is anyone talented and or strong enough to get us off it in time before the point of no return.

We are all going off the cliff together people, some of us know this but most of us still haven't got a freakin clue. Hell it might be better that way. Enjoy life right up to the very last moment before it all blows up.

After all no one is coming to save us...not even Donald Trump.
