Two years is a small sample (for full season results) and doesn’t include the ebb and flow of the salary cap. Do you really think Penrith are going to win the comp every year? Their premiership window will end, just like ours did. Our period of weakness will also end. If we only spend two years in six out of the finals we will be outperforming the NRL.

I was listening to the Bye Round Podcast and Brandon Smith was talking as if Terrell May's signing is a race in two between the Bulldogs and the Eels....and he mentioned that he had that understanding from Terell himself.

I haven't seen Parramatta's interest or contact reported anywhere, in fact I have only seen the frontrunners as the Tigers and Dogs.

Don't get me wrong, I would love it if we get him, but this just seems a touch weird.

It does seem weird. We're well covered for middle forwards unless someone else is leaving. But we should have a lot of money to spend with very few quality players available on the market

On Blaize I don't understand how we didn't offer him the 5/8 role move Brown to 1 and Gutho to the Dragons..

Brown to 1 may have unlocked his running game ala Hayne in 09 started at 5/8 but was very limited moved to fullback bang..
