the simple fact is that Ryles has been proactive and I think he has started his tenure well - and he has shown the limitations in BAs approach, which in my opinion shows BA should have been let go at the end of either 2018, 2020 or 2023 and someone else would have done better things with this squad

He should’ve been sacked after the loss to the Cowboys in 2017.

I’m very excited too, as I am before every new season, but I wasn’t waiting for a new coach to be excited. We proved in 2019 you don’t need to sack the coach to improve dramatically, though it must be easier to clean the squad out with a new coach in place.

However, I believe our biggest improvement next year will come from the signing of Lomax, which occurred before Ryles even got the job. Twenty carries a week from Lomax will provide massive benefits to the team, including the pressure on our defence.

You might be right on Lomax. I wonder how much of a difference there is between his number of carries at centre vs wing? Where are those stats Pou??
