That's what I was thinking.Must have been the only one who was ok with it being a part time gig
Freddy walked when they wanted to cut his salary down to 1/3.

If Mal Meninga can coach Origin anyone can.I can already hear the laughter coming from north of the border over this appointment.
Best of luck Laurie you got a 2nd chance so don't screw it up.
Yeah Mal really coached that side……….If Mal Meninga can coach Origin anyone can.
I think that was his pointYeah Mal really coached that side……….
That spine had probably 3 future immortals i don’t think any coach had to do much, but different than what Daley has to work with. Madge clearly out coached Slater this year. Can’t see Daley outcoaching a muck sock.I think that was his point
could that be the worst NSW side of all time?
Fergo & Dugan went walkabout in camp.
There's more to it.

The NSWRL have officially announced Laurie Daley as the new Blues coach, while Craig Bellamy will join the Blues as an advisor in a shock move.

so the NSWRL has a scapegoat when qld win 3-0 and instead of having to replace Daley, they just replace Bellamy....Why does Daley need an adviser? He has coached NSW before..

cuz he needs one, he's not a good coach imo, although you don't really need to coach these blokes when they've made it to this level, but you do need a game plan and that's where Bellyache is needed
