Well by all the scoffing at the Tigers here over Batman and Sullivan, how much you reckon we have freed up?
I'd suggest you're almost over the cap now and want Bateman and Sullivan off books to free up a little cash to strengthen other positions if player comes available later. Both players are probably in reserve grade this year if stay and that's a lot of money wasted.

he has 24 more NRL games experience than your guy......

Seriously you would swear Parra won the comp rather than spoonbowl the way you guys climb into the Tigers. Literally one game away from the spoon.

Pshhh. We didn't even come 2nd last. Take it to the Souths forums and cry with the other terrible team.

Well known fact everyone 3rd last and above has a bright future.

Mate your post that I responded to was you raving about the Federal Court case and how it was a beacon that everyone should study with regards Restraint of Trade.

The High Court ruled that the case you were spouting as recommended reading was bullshit.
Ummm… ok… do you need a HIA?
The legal arguments around exclusion and eventual reinclusion were fascinating. And I think anytime anyone thinks of mentioning restraint of trade on here perhaps have a look over this case beforehand
Look at me rave about how much I love the Federal Court! Storm the High Court everyone!

This is clearly like when you completely misunderstood the CBA/TPA stuff. But this time you are agreeing with my view from back then?

To clarify my post - the legal arguments both ways made in the case AT ALL COURT LEVELS were of interest. The fact that 3 levels of court found in 3 different ways (more because there was also a dissenting opinion in the High Court) is testament to that. Restraint of trade is never solely an objective matter determining someone has been restricted unlawfully by someone else, which is something you failed to grasp in my CBA/TPA discussion, yet here appear to have immediately pounced upon as the true law.

If I were a sensitive person, I would assume you’ve contradicted your opinion simply because you don’t like me. If that’s the case, I suggest you go back to arguing with Pou, his responses are more ire provoking.

Hey, mate. Just curious; why do you keep laying into people on here?
I react to people's posts that annoy me - isn't that what happens on forums?

Is it any different to someone disapprovingly interjecting to posts that have nothing to do with them on a repeated basis?

Not sure there is enough time in the year, but you may make forum detective some time in the new year with enough effort....

Its not an issue with the cap (although they are both earning too much to be playing reggies). Its an issue with roster spots. We were full at 30 and had promised Sione Fainu a spot and need a new 2RF. Watch this space

Who are you?

You seem a pretty sensitive person petal. You literally just typed a whole heap of stuff about a post of mine that you remembered from months ago, arguing your case and trying to prove me wrong from months ago.
Mate I dont remember what I said to you months ago, mostly because I dont care. You are some nobody on a internet football forum. I wouldnt spend an ounce of emotional energy liking or disliking you.

One of the issues, that we had , was if the amount you pay for the player elsewhere is enough to be in the top 30 salaries at the club, it seems you may need to have that player still in the 30 .

Pretty sure that’s part of the reason we only had 27 players active last year, Momosiea and Taumapopea ( spelling) were released and the salary carried at the club in the top 30.

in my lifetime I’ve seen parra and us win the same amount of spoons, yet I’ve only seen one of us win a comp

Not my problem you're a child. Us grown ups have seen it all and let me tell you the Eels a are mega super club and will only keep getting bigger. The biggest in the land of NSW in fact.

While the Tigers don't even know who they are or where they are or even what they are. Orange, White or Black, Tiger or Magpie, who the 'F' knows? Leichardt, Concord, Campbelltown, Scully Park, Accor or Commbank? Someone find us a detective pleeese! Oh where oh where will you find us next? Round and round we go and where we stop no one knows. Oh give me a break. All this nonsense and they still come last season after season after season. What a joke!

Fu*k that! I think I'll just follow the Eels instead. The super Eels that is, who are about to embark on a magnificent and stellar era both on and off the field for all us fans, old and new to really get behind and enjoy.

Go the Eels! You good things, you make my heart sing! Yee Ha!!!!
