Unlike modern academia, which is politically neutral?History is nearly always written with an agenda.

Yes a high likely that he existed. Did he really never tell a lie or is that a embellishment?
Hardly a fair comparison between a historical figure who existed 235 years ago
Your constant need for attention is just beyond pathetic. The queen of reading words and not understanding the meaning. I forgot where I was and probably should've dumbed it down for you. My apologies.
There definitely was the Honest Abe story but also the GW Cherry tree mythology.Pretty sure it was Abe Lincoln who was reputed to have never told a lie...not to be confused with Don Trump....Abe was taller and never wore lifts
Where did I say that you fool? Did your mother not give you enough attention?Unlike modern academia, which is politically neutral?
Even ‘knowing’ what happened is complex. Think about this…how Covid be written/understood in 50 years time and how many of us would agree with the future narrative?Just a total coincidence.
No one alive knows what actually happened over a period of 400+ years 2000 years ago.
History is nearly always written with an agenda. Just facts.
Exactly. Truth becomes more elusive the further we travel through time.Even ‘knowing’ what happened is complex. Think about this…how Covid be written/understood in 50 years time and how many of us would agree with the future narrative?
We were all there and the likelihood even two of us in this little forum agree on events, motivations, cause etc is very low.
History requires a bit more than data.
We’re a species that needs stories and somehow complex events get distilled down to simple memes that make it easy for us to navigate life.
I think my point is…truth is hard to nail down.

With the greek heritage Konstas has his family look like they have 100 times more class about them then the Kyrigos family of flogs in Tennis who have the same background.I laid on the couch today and watched cricket literally all day. That’s big for me considering I really don’t enjoy it typically but I was glued.
The reason was the incredible debut from Konstas. A 19yo making a test debut OPENING as batsman for the Boxing Day test against the Indians. Doesn’t get much bigger and he brained them!
Everyone loves a great sporting story and I hope Parra catch fire next year. There are so many potential big stories to be played out if things go well!!
Let’s hope we have some good times

Seriously.
Weird parallel. Are you trying to tell me that two family's, with the same distant heritage are indeed.......different?With the greek heritage Konstas has his family look like they have 100 times more class about them then the Kyrigos family of flogs in Tennis who have the same background.
She was a heroin addict mate, she was very busy.Where did I say that you fool? Did your mother not give you enough attention?
Everyone knows what Greeks are like and this Konstas bloke breaks the mould ffs! Or was it Kyrgios that was very un-Greek?Weird parallel. Are you trying to tell me that two family's, with the same distant heritage are indeed.......different?
Bingo! She was a heroin addict mate, she was very busy.
I watched it a bit too and I’m not really into cricket either.I laid on the couch today and watched cricket literally all day. That’s big for me considering I really don’t enjoy it typically but I was glued.

And since religion deals with the unknown, it's not about knowing, it is about believing. That's why it's called faith.Even ‘knowing’ what happened is complex. Think about this…how Covid be written/understood in 50 years time and how many of us would agree with the future narrative?

When they picked a greek bloke I was expecting this guyEveryone knows what Greeks are like and this Konstas bloke breaks the mould ffs! Or was it Kyrgios that was very un-Greek?
