You have to define “making it” in NSW Cup, because as it stands they have both played at that level and are likely to do it again next season.

He will be flushed out of the system and You won't hear of JA in 3yrs is my honest opinion.
MA I've not seen enough of but you could fit him in your pocket so unsure his body will handle it.
I wish both well. Hope they kill it and put egg on my face. Personally but I just don't see it. I've been wrong plenty of times but. I'm no expert. If I was I would be working for a club.

I believe how it went was:
Gould didn’t want Cleary back. Cleary wasn’t a ‘yes’ man like Gus wanted which is why he brought in Griffin. Penrith board were afraid of losing Nathan so wanted to bring back Ivan to give him more reason to stay. Gus didn’t want that. They sacked Gus, hired Cleary and re-signed Nathan. Hindy111 got sad because his favourite team sacked his hero.

Then they went and won grand finals, so hindy111 was happy again. They still couldn’t win the World Club Challenge though, so job’s not done yet.

I am under attack.

Pretty sure he said by age 25
If he wants to stay in the game he will, Dean Hawkins style. But being an NRL backup doesn't pay as well as plenty of menial jobs these days and of course he might be gone by age 25. But just like Hawkins, Arthur has already proven himself as a NSW Cup halfback. Whether he stays in the NRL is up to him.

Zac Dockar-Clay is still playing (getting some FG time in fact) and he’s smaller than MA.

Could have a decent reserve grade career with the occasional FG game. Way too early to write him off yet.
If the benchmark for Matt Arthur is that he has the potential to be as good as Zac Docker-Clay, then he really should consider whether it's worth all the effort.
