I will pick talent based on athletic ability first.
That means size,power and most importantly acceleration/leg speed. If you don't possess any of this you won't make it much beyond being a back up or bog average.
Just having all these qualities doesn't mean you'll make it but you have the body to. That's when you go to skill set, defense, errors.
Morretti has the body. Fast leg speed,power,aggression. That gives him a decent ceiling. If he develops some ball playing, improves defense and reduces errors he has potential to be an above average forward. But Terepo was similar and never fixed his fundamental faults.
I don't see a lot of juniors. Bit I watched last year I liked look of W.Latu based on above reasons. Ethyn Martin whilst a bit small and lot of faults in game has freakish speed and footwork. Another who if can fix this stuff could be explosive.
