Totally agree. The constant bickering and one upsmanship is f**king annoying. Someone needs to up the limit needed between post replies for these blokes it just ruins it for most people who come here for a look.

I think people need to be prepared for more of this and this is just the beginning.

I can't see Moses taking up his PO. He's worth $1.5m Plus minimum on the open marker. Isaac Moses would be nuts to let him take up his PO.

I'm not sure we'll pay him $1.5m, but I suspect we'll have to if we want to be anything other than perennial bottom 4 going forward.

Well obviously Moses off contract no matter who he plays for would be attractive for literally 12 clubs. The only way to avoid this is that Moses tells his manager to sign a reasonable deal with his incumbent club. Prolly not gunna happen.

They seem illogical because the media doesn't report how much the player and club agreed the PO was worth in dollar figures. Because they don't know.

Gun shy at having TPA's until the dust settled from the breaches so maybe PO's were used as the replacement option for certain players when needed.

Not as gun shy anymore so maybe why PO's are no longer a focus.

I have no definitive reason behind my logic, (hence my use of the word 'maybe') so I cant comment on whether we need them or not, but what I do know is that the PLC Board was definitely interested in improving their understanding of how TPA's work in the latter half of 2024.

There is one side who want to believe that his life decisions were based on our former coach, rather his family being indecisive about what state they want to live in / or if that decisions is influenced or flipped when he was offered a senior NRL role vs a junior role.

I'm thinking that most in this thread will want to lock in A, Eddie.

Probably because it's a great place to live with a family and he had 3 qld clubs that would have employed him.
Only came back as he is very close with Ryles.
Oh and he probably thought the junior pathways system here needed to be burnt down and started again and he may not of been given the power to do that back then.
