That just doesn't sound right. Takes a lower price for a 2 year extension 🤔 because a PO
The PO is worth something. Therefore it cost something. It's simple economics.
Not sure it worked with Gutho telling him we aren't offering him a new contract is what worked.

Munster was what you took from that....
You're the one who laid out the bullshit hypothetical. Almost as bad as Cleary wanting to come and play for $750k. Yes there's risk to the club with this PO, just as there is a benefit to the player. Therefore there must be some benefit to the cub just as there is cost to the player. Simple economics yet again. The bean counters are on it. They will contact you when they need advice.

Another factor in Dylan not being a "good playmaker" is the loss of Gutherson. A lot of our shapes were set-up as Gutherson being the dominant play-maker on the sweep on the left. Take the final 2 games of the season as examples. It's an extremely small sample size and they were against weak opposition, but it's the 2 most recent games we can go off. And it was also noticeable that Gutherson was playing more in the middle than out on the sweep.

Round 26: 175m off 19 runs. 2 line break assists, 3 try assists.
Round 27 (in 52 minutes): 102m off 11 runs. 1 line break assist and 1 try assist.

These games Dylan was also playing on the unusual RHS. I've said it before but Dylan will now be the dominant play-maker on that left side so we'll have to see more final decisions being made from him. Whilst he is currently very good I believe we'll see his ball-playing numbers increase.

Supporting cast, can't see anyone paying him more than us. I guess that's why Gavin Orr had to create an ad for dylan. Sounds like no one has been enquiring.
Been following this thread and I’ve been trying to stay out of the standard hijacking by Pou and the BA Defenders, but I had to say that the above post is pretty close to the mark

Rumours about Dylan’s suitors have been around for at least two years - eveyone has knows the warriors and roosters are interested and others are too - and Dylan has been able to talk since 1 November

Im guessing the Orrs have a price in mind and their suitors haven’t got there, which means the email wasn’t to frighten parramatta, it was to frighten the warriors or whomever it is that hasn’t hit the mark

otherwise, why would they need to inform people about Dylan Brown…

When I ask friends who follow other sides they speak of Dylan quite highly.
He was coming of age in 2022 behind a strong pack. The last 2yrs he has had a dud pack and wingers who don't make much meters at starts of set. 2025 he was without Mitch also.
I'd still love to see him behind a good pack against and with Moses fit.

It's whatever clubs will pay. And every player goes worse in a weaker team, which is what you have when a high priced star is unavailable. Drown (and the rest of the team) is worse without Moses. Moses (and the rest of the team) is worse without Drown. My point, and it's a shame I have to spell it out for the grownups, is that Drown's performances without Moses in the team don't reflect on his value one way or the other.

and the grown ups opinions differ slightly, which they are entitled to, as Dylbro's ability to be a play maker also reflects on his value, now get back in the naughty corner

Speaking genuinely he isnt a player I fear when Tigers play Parra. I worry more about Moses but not Dylbo as much.

Hopefully we'll see Dylan and Mitch 'run' a LOT more under the Ryles regime but that will depend a lot on our forwards.

I'd like to see W.Latu and his development in NSW cup. I've only seen him once and I liked what I did see.
Went in the black book as one to watch.
