Not fair to single out Barrett's win %. For the love of God he was trotting out at times a RMC team...I had more optimism and hope when Barrett was in charge as they seemed more united and actually having a red hot go than the earlier part of the season.
I think we'll win about half our games, which might be enough to get into the top eight. We just need to get some luck and win most of the close ones.

I agree Barrett's Eels record is meaningless. It's why I bang on about sample sizes. 14 games means absolutely nothing, but 28% does (coincidentally?) align with his career win rate of 31%
I don't. I think we'll struggle for a while like the Dog's did under CC. Merkins can throw facts and figures at me until Brown's cows come home, but at the end of the day I have a 50 year sample size to fall back on.

Well sure, and if he won 20 games with this squad it would say something about the coach. But 8, 12 or 16 wins are all possible this year without indicating much about the coach.
