It’s funny you ask this, I literally asked this afternoon the guy I know who is close with him at work and he said they were expecting him to “play plenty of back row for the Eels”… I was quite shocked as I thought he was a centre but I was told he is training there, no centre / wing stuff. Apparently that’s where they were planning to use him at Dogs too.

His passing comment was “you do know how big and athletic he is right, he’s a total specimen!”.

My friend btw played 21’s for an NRL club so he’s not talking through rose coloured glasses.

He was named at centre for Friday, though I think the signing announcement mentioned his utility value. He was also named in the forwards a couple of times in reserve grade.

We haven't had someone with that versatility on the bench since Niukore (although he could play middle as well). With how common HIA's, injuries and sin bins are it's handy to have.

Morgan Harper would never have played 60+ NRL games if he wasn't even good enough to be a backup. It is f**king stupid to criticise his signing.

Decent backup unfortunately we didn't have a decent NRL player Infront of him last year. Injuries and Form didn't help.

Dick and Samrani are probably decent backups this year for Will and Lomax. Dick would have been even better if he didn't miss an entire season.
