So al lot of people online were saying “ re-sign Volkman before 5 other clubs start a bidding war”. Cos we only signed him for 2025.

Here’s a conundrum, do we re-sign Volkman as understudy for Moses and risk losing Lincoln Fletcher like we did Ethan Sanders ?

Why can’t Volkman be an understudy for Brown? I thought he was a 6. Isn’t Hawkins our back up 7?

Anyway using Sanders as an example he played a year early should have played the season in Flegg. We just all wanted them to develop so quickly because didn't have much in cup as backups.

So with Fletcher this year once Ball is over he needs to develop in Flegg for 2026 then in 2027 if he is ready come into CUP. (A pathway of you want to call or that)

I’d say it was because he wasn’t worth the money to them. The Storm had Harry Grant who is the best hooker in the game so Smith was surplus to requirements. The Roosters realised he wasn’t worth the big money as the primary hooker. If he was good enough I doubt they would be letting him walk out.

Before it becomes more than it ever should ever be the media team at Parra should put it to bed with Joe fronting the cameras with a bit of spin in the mix.
