It's a different game. Some people will watch test cricket for 8hrs for 5 days and get a draw yet enjoy it.
I love NFL. It has a lot of big plays thst change the game. But it is a bit slow and I prefer the natural flow of rugby league. I think you see more exciting plays in the NFL tho
More exciting than stuff like this, last play of the game to clutch the win from the jaws of loss in the last 2mm of grass and directly downwards?

Forgive me, but the highlights you see every week in the NRL make me feel it’d be hard to get more exciting plays.

We all bag the nrl plenty but the reality is it’s not uncommon to have 8 very enjoyable games every weekend.

Completely agree.

Much like Test cricket, NFL is a war of attrition - it's a battle of wits, and "who will blink first".

If you know the rules, and what you're watching, gridiron is quite exciting.

It has the propensity to have massive, game-defining plays on a more consistent basis than the NRL.

I prefer rugby league (mostly because the Vegas Raiders are garbage, have been garbage for decades, and will continue to be garbage until long after I die...whereas the Eels seem to be on the upswing), but gridiron is an awesome sport, where sporting IQ is rewarded in every match.

The stoppages can build excitement also as you try and guess what play they need or will do. It is hard to predict what play is coming In NFL so it keeps you a bit anxious but in league 95% of time you know what the next play will be

If a club is stupid to sign him 10 years when he will be 25 (As will begin next year the contract) they will be a club that will be perennial bottom feeders. They will have cap screwed plus with Dylan starting first grade young and defence he goes through , his body will fail him once he hits 30, so half the contract the will have him playing below his best

Apparently 3 clubs very interested in Dylan including Knights.

A 10 year, $11m deal on the table possibly

hope he takes it

Great for him. He's 24 but not exactly the weapon he's been expounded to be. I hope he doesn't leave but if he does then that's his choice. I just hate all these chess moves ......rook to knight.

The club offering 10 years will just have 4-5 PO's sprinkled throughout the deal.... It's what the smart clubs do....

Nobody got killed… but it was dopey. Apology and be better and we all move on. You know El Commandante Rylesy wouldn’t have approved. He’s spent an entire off-season preaching culture. Done and dusted, on to the next.

Agreed. Not the smartest thing but the media have blown this up. People in the media are still talking about as if he's committed a crime.

His manager probably shit the bed after the trial because volkman performed decently (and could be future option to replace Dylan) and he is trying to up the ante in the media to squeeze some money from Parra
Have looked at a couple of podcasts and forums. Everyone is talking bout Volkman. Need to lock him up.
Even just as an insurance policy. First game back in 17months after a serious shoulder injury so imagine he has a lot to offer once he gets some confidence and timing back.

Yeah I agree. However I wonder if he’s going to be content playing Reggies the whole time. He looked good enough to get a gig somewhere.
