I find it staggering that there's a club (maybe more than 1) prepared to make him the highest paid player in the game (in terms of contracted $$'s agreed).

Munster could have got 1.5-1.6 mill at the Dolphins. They had a blank canvas.

He also only played it out in the month after there season finished in 2022 while they were on holidays he announced a few days after Penrith beat us in the GF.

6th October, 2022 he was staying at Melbourne for life.

Apprantley watching Cleary tear us a new one on GF day changed his mind wanting to win premierships was more then an a extra 200-300k a year playing for a bottom 8 side.

He certainly is, but before that it was Cronk. Tohu Harris was one of the best forwards in the game when he left as well.
