Given this happened so quickly and not bothering to test his value, you'd have to think we're paying in the vicinity of $1.5m a year for at least some of those seasons.

Not sure what he is on and I know it wont have come cheap, but realistically this is a massive endorsement for Ryles, given that I know for a fact Isaac Moses was over dealing with BA very early on in the Blaize saga last year.

It seems people who are prepared to look past BA are seeing the potential future for the Eels with Ryles at the helm!

Considering he is now the NSW origin and Kangaroo half (albeit temporary) he deserves an upgrade. It makes sense that he got a new deal.

Proszenko has stated an upgrade to 1.3 a season. That’s reasonable.
