From the little I have seen I love him and I’m tipping he will have a very long NRL career.Iongi is a really good kid, time will tell whether he is a long term quality fullback. It is such a crucial position I think he has all the attributes but still untested long term.

His family, mum in particular. Were a bit disappointed he was overlooked for a debut with us in preference to the likes Diane Laurie last season. The reality was he had Dylan Edwards blocking his path so had to move on. He has an opportunity now so it’s in his hands. Very similar situation to J’Maine he was crying out for more opportunities with us but his pathway was blocked. Sad because he was so good coming thru I think we should have found a spot for him somewhere. Anyway our loss is your gain on both fronts. From the little I have seen I love him and I’m tipping he will have a very long NRL career.

Your post is all class. Have a good year, my friend. His family, mum in particular. Were a bit disappointed he was overlooked for a debut with us in preference to the likes Diane Laurie last season. Laurie.Who would you prefer right now between Iongi and Laurie ?
I rate Lauire
Wouldn't surprise me if Iongi pulls on the QLD jersey one day if pretty boy Reece is unavailable at any stage.Iongi is a really good kid, time will tell whether he is a long term quality fullback. It is such a crucial position I think he has all the attributes but still untested long term.
In all fairness alot of people were off Moses during that time. It wasn’t until last year when he killed it at origin that the criticism of him being a downhill skier stopped. In mid 2022 when we where handing out all these stupid long deals to everyone I bought up how this is going to f**k us up and how we had to put everything into 2022 then bite bullet and start a mini rebuild in 2023/2024 so by time 2025 hit we where built to challenge again.
This squad will be flat out challenging for top 8 let alone a title.
I'd say now it won't be before 2027.
We could have had a strong squad for 2025-2027 capable of top 4 if things where done differently. We've wasted Moses best years. By time we are ready he is going to be starting to decline.
Not of the people he was talking shit aboutWhat if he’s now back at our club? Doesn’t that make him back as an insider?
He might well never play Origin but I'd be very surprised if he didn't play 150 NRL games. Then again, I would've said the same about Haze Dunster.Iongi is a really good kid, time will tell whether he is a long term quality fullback. It is such a crucial position I think he has all the attributes but still untested long term.

Agreed:Iongi is a fullback, only a fullback.
Utility: Brown*, Hands (27), Papalii (22)
Fullback: Iongi
The Blaize hype is baffling to me, even the media were blowing smoke up his ass whenever they got the chance. The kid showed glimpses of being a good player, don’t get me wrong but he really shouldn’t have even got into first grade last year but our outside backs were absolutely shot. He could develop well, but only time will tell on that front. His biggest issue is giving a shit to actually try in defence and off he ball on offence. If your system can make him give a shit he will probably be a good player. It’s kind of funny, in so much I have never quite understood bringing Blaize to our club. I’m not suggesting he doesn’t have talent, rather I just think we had similar talents within our club. I hope he proves me wrong and is a world beater but I can’t help but feel the hype has exceeded the ability. Anyway he is playing NSW Cup this week in the six so I will watch with interest. The kid who we picked in the six in round 1, Jack Cole, is a decent talent and a super defender.
