To be fair the rumoured $1m over 5 years from the Tigers I thought was a pretty good deal.

End of the day he’s an extremely talented 19 year old but no gaurantee he ever goes to the next level. Although a lot of halves don’t peak till there late 20’s into their 30s, plenty plateau by the time they are 23-24 as well.

That’s very negative. We are run by the most professional management bar none. We have the Jim at the helm with all his football knowledge and leader ship skills. He’s put together the ace recruitment team headed by O’Neill who has a proud history of signing only talented players.

I don’t know why you are so negative. It’s not like we are coming last.

let’s be honest, don’t think Galvin would”d sign for us unless we had a signing spree similar 2005 or at least what the Dogs did 2 years ago. Do we have the right people in recruitment to sell that and execute the strategy.

The past 5 years would suggest unlikely, but it’s what is needed and should be the basis that the board under Matt Beach starts his administration.

Fingers crossed and more hope than anything .

How do you need 'the right people' for a signing spree? You just need a f**kload of cap space. 'The right people' are there so you can maximise the cap space you have by paying merkins outside the salary cap.

Meh, we had already told him we didnt want him. Benji put in in every game he played for the Tigers, that was never in doubt......Plus there was always this so...

Wouldnt compare a great of the game who literally changed the game and a 19yo kid who has played 27 games.
