I would assume the Tigers ended their liability in the first season, or at least the majority of it.How much would we actually have been paying JOffa? Surely Tigpies contributed heavily (and still are)

Yep, I'm tracking we likely had 30 spots filled before Ofahengaue's release.Money isn't our issue - we need rosters spots freed up.
Significant improvement since 2019 (two years after leaving Wests) according to the stats: https://www.parraeels.com.au/teams/nrl-premiership/parramatta-eels/mitchell-moses/Maybe should have kept Arthur.
Being completely honest, I think Mitch is a very good player, but I actually dont think he has improved that much since he left the Tigers. His defence has but that happens with all players as they get older and stronger.
Fair to say Isaiah Papali'i has regressed since leaving Parra, even at the Panthers (though it's early days for him there).Your opinion of course, biased due to his return to his junior club, not sure I remember Moses playing Origin or dominating games has he has done since moving from the Tigers.
We all look at ex players and rationalise their departure with, well he didn’t improve, if he did improve it’s because of what we did.
Don’t think you say too much different to how most fans rationalise, but continuing to do it in another clubs forum is bit strange.
*Jake ArthurCloser to Scott Hill / John Sutton IMO
How do you know who leaked the story and why should we believe it? Do the Tigers have nothing to gain by leaking this? Can you please quote me an "aggressive statement" from the CEO? Can you give me an example of bullying by the CEO?
If Galvins manager had dealt in a professional manner this wouldnt be an issue. If Galvins manager hadnt walked in and declared that Galvin is leaving and we dont even want to hear your offer and then leaked the story to Chammas none of this would be an issue.
Wooden spoons are a team effort. Ofahengaue has also played Origin and in a grand final.didn't someone see this spoon collector as bad ju-ju before he was signed
The risk here is that if you block players from opportunities (like demanding excessive transfer fees) it comes back to bite the club as they are then seen as untrustworthy by other players and managers. Yes they have a contract, but letting merkins go for reasonable compensation is the norm (at least in soccer). Standing on your extremely favourable contract and evoking the binding legality of it is counter to those norms. I believe rugby league is heading in the same direction. Holding players to a contract is bad PR these days. Future signings will think twice before committing to such a ball and chain. What you are talking about would effectively be transfer fees and that has nothing to do with Terry Hill. Dennis Tutty sued the league and transfer fees were found illegal restraint of trade.
The problem with transfer fees and your suggestion above is, what is blah?
So Parra want Galvin and Tigers say well we want Mitchell Moses in return. Mitchell Moses doesnt want to come to the Tigers and there are no other players we want, the Tigers say ok, we want money and Parra says no problem, how much? And the Tigers say $12M. Then what?
Effectively it is the same as we do have now. If Galvin wanted to go to Manly and Manly would give us Oloakuatu, he would be at Brookvale by this afternoon. If Galvin wanted to go to any club and they wanted to give the Tigers $12M he would be gone immediately. of course $12M is a ridiculous number but thats the point......there is a right number.
Without him we would've won the spoon last year. He was far from our worst player.I’m sure the spoon hall of fame will honour this man. A f**king legend when it came to shitery. He was the Trojan horse ent or is by the Tigers. I called out his shitery from day dot.
ffsJoe wasn't the worse player in our current roster.
A terrible player. Who was experienced in achieving spoons with our clubs. Fact.Without him we would've won the spoon last year. He was far from our worst player.
