The Tigers always have and always will be a pathetic loser club with a massive chip on there shoulder due to being a Joint Venture merger of Balmain & Wests.

Those parties don't get on neither do the administration ffs who ban board members from the leagues club premises.

Sounds like Parra under Spags.

How do you expect the players to do so.

Galvin's biggest crime is being a naive 19 year old to the shit storm this was going to create.

His not innocent but he certainly isn't the driving force behind the mess.

The club themselves have made this a bigger mess themselves from one clusterf**k to another when it had no reason to be at this point of time.

From forcing the contract issue to sending out a petty press release, dropping him/throwing him under the bus, Turuva carrying on like grub on Instagram, Luai/Api were just as embarrassing at the presser last Thursday cold and really it wasn't leadership it was arrogance of the highest order.

Then there performance on Monday was a shambles the senior players who didnt want Galvin in the team failed to step up.

Now they have the tail between there legs. Didnt want to pick him last week because he may booed at Commbank.

There at Leichhardt this week which is more hostile just a ridiculous excuse.

Ill give Shane Richardson his dues he has really buttered up the PR narrative with some heavy hitters at News Corp with the leverage of Issac Moses being involved who most in the game can't stand.

I also notice the Tigers fans are just embarrassing themselves on social media claiming anyone who says anything not in line with the Tigers is an Issac Moses stooge.

Anyway

Up the Sharkies on Sunday i hope they give them a bath and the implosion continues.

I think that Shane Richardson is the one that’s had the nightmare. He tried to firstly tie the kid down with a contract that most wouldn’t turn down probably to try and win a PR war.

Should’ve just copped it sweet and said Galvin is here for two more seasons and we look forward to being successful in both.

Whatever happened from there, fair enough. But instead he’s leaked that Galvin supposedly had issues with Marshall’s coaching, again to win public opinion. So now Marshall’s coaching is being called into question along with all the other rubbish.

When you compare to how Parramatta handled the Brown saga it’s night and day. Our club, despite a lot of issues, actually handled that with aplomb.

Same with how Blaize walked out on us. You could argue that we did just as much for Blaize as Tigers did for Lochie.

Am I wrong in saying that they signed Stefano very early and were agitating for an early release ?

All the BS about the kid will carry this forever and it will effect his entire career.
Crap. This in itself is the media creating drama and further media pile on.
The news cycle will move on, Lachie will move on and the next story will take its place just as the Dylbags and DCE stories have.
With regard to bullying, if Galvin believes hes been bullied, then he's been bullied end of arguement and as such its an issue for the bullies. Nobody else's opinion or excuse matters and Galvin's representatives know this only too well.

There were elements of that around the time Matto walked out on the Tigers.

They wanted Stefano immediately in return possibly for a swap deal.

We said no as Stefano still had a year to go on his contract.

Matto's relationship with Madge was beyond repair by this stage & he was so desperate to get out of there i think he just got released without anything owed from the Tigers.

So there was no swap and we got Matto

Similar to Lomax walking out on the dragons the club owed the player nothing for wanting out of there contract early.

Yeah that’s a good shout too. Look it hurts us fans when players do it to our club. Like I’ve said plenty of times, I feel for the Tigers fans.

But your club should be operating at a higher level. Ours did on those couple of occasions and especially when Blaze left it seemed like rats were jumping of a sinking ship.

The stronger clubs simply get on with the job at hand.

I guess what this saga all shows is that when we bag Sarantinos or MON or Ryles or players or the club, that we need some perspective. Can they be better? Maybe, maybe not. They need to be. Just trying your best and trying to constantly improve isn’t a guaranteed ticket to continue on ad nauseum. But they could also definitely be worse. Reckon people (I would’ve been one of them) would’ve hooting and hollering if we swapped Sarantinos for Richo start of year. Wonder if people feel same way now

Manly have upped their offer to Foggarty for 3 seasons..

Wonder if the Raiders will try to keep Foggarty now for 3 seasons and what's it mean for Sanders.. They also have a decent 19 year old who can play 1/6/7/9.

CNK resigned with the Wahs till the end of 27.
What's going on with Joey Manu with the Wahs keeping CNK..
Maybe we should sign him up! Especially if the Tigers decide to play hard ball with Galvin..
