i think you're being a bit harsh on Hopgood, he's still dealing with a back injury that will only improve with game time

It’s round 11, and if anything he’s going backwards. I thought he was pretty ordinary last year before injury. He’s a shadow of the guy that arrived here in 2023.

PERTH BEARS TO BECOME A BRAND POWERHOUSE

New kids on the block in the NRL Perth Bears and PNG to become brand powerhouses.

A global consultancy firm has given a stunning thumbs up to the NRL’s expansion plans claiming Papua New Guinea is poised to create a world-first for sport while the Perth Bears can become one of the game’s leading brands within five years.
Brand Finance is a UK-headquartered brand valuation and strategy company with its Australian managing director Mark Crowe providing The Daily Telegraph analysis and insights into the popularity and financial prospects of the new kids on the NRL block.

Brand Finance released a report late last year ranking the existing 17 NRL teams on brand value and brand strength.

The Brisbane Broncos topped the brand value list at $124 million, followed by Penrith ($108m), South Sydney ($73m), North Queensland ($72m) and Parramatta ($71m).

Fairly sure he said that during the pre season as well.

Moses also looks to have gone back to his old ways as a captain as well. In his first game back as captain he seemed to be alot calmer when approaching the ref and had less arm flapping.
