Its quite funny to hear murmurs on the radio yesterday about Madge telling the Broncos hierarchy he needs to turn over the roster.

He was brought into win a comp this year or next.

Tallis almost pulled a valve when he heard that after they sacked Walters.

And the sacking of Taupau for liking a instagram post whose 35 and a washed up reserve grader while letting Selwyn Cobbo shitbag the former coach on a podcast says everything about the double standards and rockstar culture at the joint.

Not even including Ezra Mam fiasco.

And to think some sections of Eels fans were criticising our club for not signing Madge—yet the Broncos are only two points ahead of us, despite having a star-studded squad. Meanwhile, we’ve undergone a major roster overhaul, are relying on young talent, and have battled through injuries.

Chiefy was big on the Madge bandwagon but there weren't many others i can recall.

Most on here all agreed that Madge is too intense for club gigs and his shelf life at clubs is one contract stint.

His last 150 games coached in the NRL have netted 57 wins at 3 different clubs.

And just 80 of those 150 games were at the Tigers so its not like its all slanted to that 1 coaching stint.

Tigers board met this morning to discuss the Galvin early release a year early.

I suspect the leaks will come through in the next few days that its been approved and that Galvin can negotiate for 2026 with other clubs.

1-13 I think they’ve got the strongest side on paper in the comp. I think their bench isn’t great but their current form is diabolical. Had a broncos supporting mate say to me on Sunday at least Parra have a go each week with a young side, we lose our stomach when a side has a go at us. Interesting times.
