Well, how many decent players did the club sign when we constantly made finals and a GF.
How many decent players does any club sign when they are at their strongest? They should be focused on retaining the players they already have.
Didn’t impact the Dogs, Tigers, and others recruiting when getting wooden spoons or close.
Us neither last time we got the spoon. Do you not see the correlation?

I find it interesting that Gus said on his podcast that he was talking to Ryles earlier in the week

What have the General Manager of Football at the Dogs and the Head Coach of Parra actually been discussing?
Probably how crazy it is that regardless of who wins the NBA championship this year it’s a minimum 30+ year drought broken. That’s certainly something Parra fans could be envious of!

Nobody seemed to answer the question I asked a few pages ago.

If it comes down to Galvin choosing between us and the Bulldogs and we can offer him a player option to get him over the line, who would be ok with that?

Also, if Galvin asks for a player option and we tell him no we don’t do that anymore, so he signs for the Dogs…who is ok with that?

If it’s a long term deal and the option isn’t after 2 years then I’d be ok with it.

3 + 1 (player) + 1 (mutual).

Proviso is the player option must be actioned 12 months out, and he loses $100k a year by having the option

Dogs ain't offering a PO so why should we.

Your either all in & committed at this club or your not.

If players come in and start demanding PO's there not the right fit for this club moving forward.

The Wests Tigers will grant Lachlan Galvin permission to negotiate with rival clubs but will attach a transfer fee of $165,000 to his early release.

will grant, not have granted

so how can Gus be "going in hard for Galvin and having a hand shake deal" ?

Do you love it? Do you really? Dont tease

You can think or believe anything you want to want, and it has zero impact on me, but I know for a fact what was going on since about 3 weeks prior to the meeting with Richo and it has been 100% Parra. I have been very clear in here that its Parra. Parra approached Moses after Brown left and have made him an offer and even before the meeting with Richo, Moses has been setting up opportunities both for business and training in areas around Parra and he has not been discreet.

But as Rugba Leeg is Rugba Leeg and whilst Parra were the immoral leaches that started this sh*tfight rolling, as soon as the Tigers have given him "permission to talk to clubs" there are two other clubs talking to him and one of them is talking hard.
Gus has done more damage in this whole saga then what Parramatta have.

I called it out last year before he was even linked to the possibility of maybe coming to us. And slammed Gus for the comments and the pressure he was putting on the Tigers.

A GM/HOF of a rival club using his podcast which is part of a rights broadcaster saying a 18 year old kid will become the first ever player command 2million dollars a year was a disgraceful comment and i am surprised the Tigers didn't blow up about it at the time.

Gus has blown more smoke up Galvin's arse then anybody in the game.

If we don't get him its not the end of the world.

When one door closes plenty more open up.

The Dogs will be letting players go to accommodate this next year if he ends up there.

Ryles’ comment yesterday about wanting to ensure we’re doing the right thing in negotiations and staying within the rules feels like an overcompensation.

He knows we haven’t been.

I think we are still favourites but won’t be slashing my wrists if he doesn’t come either.
