Well to be fair, it’s bred f**k all at this pointBut a competitor might enjoy the cut-throat culture like the ones the Dogs have - it tends to breed success.

And (dare I call it this early?) one of the best coaches in the game?We can offer him something they can't, an apprenticeship under one of the best halves in the game.
Well probably not premature , look at Russell (yes still needs to pass more) but he is much better player , penisini for all the crap he gets has actually improved , he makes much more yardage (if could only hold onto the ball and do stupid stuff) and you can see how the team has been progressing . As Moses harps on , he has learnt a lot in the last 7 months
REED TO BE HOOKED
The rumour will not go away that hooker Reed Mahoney is facing the chop at Canterbury because of his lack of discipline. That was again so evident on Thursday night in the NRL ladder leaders’ big loss against the Dolphins.
We’re hearing coach Cameron Ciraldo will use utility star Bailey Hayward at hooker when he has all his players available after State of Origin.
In a competition as tight as this year, one stupid penalty can mean the difference between winning and losing in the big games.

He’s a professional footballer. He has one job. He has to learn how to put away his winger if he’s playing centre.Nobody ever turned over possession by not passing the ball. Well except for Penisini of course.
Iongi is our buggest ball hog imo, so many chances to pass yet goes himself
one thing to be confident in your own ability, another thing to be selfish and play for yourself instead of the team
100%. I get that being a great NRL centre means you need to defend like a backrower, have the ability to break a tackle like a fullback and pass like a 5/8, but f**k our centres are just so one dimensional. He’s a professional footballer. He has one job. He has to learn how to put away his winger if he’s playing centre.
Opposite, until this week I think he’s passed too often rather than take on the line and use his strength. His game on Friday was probably the best game we’ve had from an edge forward for us in 12 months. From what I have seen is Kautoga is the overlap killer. The amount of times we spread the ball he gets it and then either holds onto the ball or when he does he throws a stupid pass like that one where the fox had to catch it on the touchline.
just a frustrating player to watch.
He knows how to pass to his winger. He gets a bunch of try assists every year. He’s a professional footballer. He has one job. He has to learn how to put away his winger if he’s playing centre.
so maybe he’s better off only passing the ball in the lowest risk situations (i.e. when there’s no defenders near him or the receiver). T
I thought he ran across field a bit to much when coming out of our end.Iongi is our buggest ball hog imo, so many chances to pass yet goes himself

Maybe the weather had a bit to do with it.He’s a professional footballer. He has one job. He has to learn how to put away his winger if he’s playing centre.
x 2Shocking take
Understatement of the year. This was me in the stands to Russell on Friday night.
