He played halfback. He isn't a half back. It's not the role he wouId play with us. Anyhow he had, 11 runs 90 m, 1 missed tackle. Pretty decent for a supporting halves role.

BTW the week after in a running role at centre, he had 15 runs, 142 m, 3 TB, 1 LB, 1 missed tackle. Against the sharks.

If no one on the open market pops up as an option I’m happy for the club to sit on its hands and just use what we have. I’d back the coaching staff and lean on Moses to see who compliments him the best.

For mine it’s between Volkman or Twidle. Joash is a 1 and Hawkins a 7. Lynn I don’t think is quite good enough, maybe he might make it as a utility.

Lorenzo and Fletcher are babies but both very good for their age (don’t compare them to Galvin) in a couple of years one or even both could be up to it.

Sandon Smith for no more than 500k a year on a two year deal I wouldn’t be too upset with. I think he’s more a utility than a genuine 6 but he’s relatively experienced now and can run an edge.

I’d also be making a call to Tyran Wisharts manager and seeing if he’d like to start playing more than 20 minutes a game

Ive never been an AD fan but I have to say this year he has almost converted me. Playing a simple role at centre he has done well for us and has kicked goals at a good rate. I wouldnt be against the Tigers signing him on a cheap rate for a couple of years.

But the Tigers will announce a signing in a couple of weeks which will make his position difficult to sustain.
