Surely if we don’t sign anyone notable for next year or even the year after in the next 6 months, then something has to give? What will it take for the new chair Matthew Beach to make a move on this front? If the coach is judged on onfield results, surely there should be some metric to capture the efficiency of the recruitment team as well?
