He did in 2022, but not this time.

As for moses, I know that he signed in competition at the start of 2023, but there was no competition this year - in fact, I believe he may have re-signed early knowing his injury history and looking for security.

The right thing to do is to start with Brown at 3 and Joash at 6. At least if he (Ryles) is serious about sorting out our number 6 for next year.

Having Brown in there gives a fall back if Joash doesnt work (I think he'll be ok) and Brown's running game and defence outwide will be more than suitable.

There is always competition. Before clubs make a formal offer they are always in contact with player agents to get an idea of demand from rival clubs. If there’s only one serious offer it’s because that offer blew the rest out of the water. It doesn’t mean there was no interest.

With all due respect you are suggesting 4 or more changes when we really only need 1 and a new interchange player.

Either Brown goes straight back into 6 and we find a centre to replace Penisini or Brown goes to centre to replace Penisini and the remaining backs are as per last round. Lussick will start at hooker (like last week) and we may see Hands on the bench or vice versa.
